Who knew . . . the Spice Girls would go back on tour?
I never thought this would happen but I have been wrong before and I am glad to say I was not only wrong but went to a concert last Monday night. It was AWESOME.
Sporty, Posh, Ginger, Scary, Baby
Friday morning I convinced a few friends to go with me, arranged for tickets, and when all the plans were set I couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear with excitement the entire weekend. Not only did we have tickets but we had great seats. I could hardly wait.
The show started at 8:30pm and the dancing and singing and fun, and entertainment, and girl power didn't end until almost 10:30pm. The crowd was 90% female between the ages of 16 and 35 and dressed in sparkles and sequins and glitter and some even as their favorite Spice Girl.
It was an amazing show! I have never seen so many set and costume changes in my life. I figured the Spice Girls would change costumes but the dancers were always changing as well. Every two or three songs the stage and the singers and dancers would transform right before our eyes. They sang all the popular songs, songs only devout fans sang along to (I was not singing if you are wondering), and a new one called Headlines.
The Spice Girls singing "Wanna Be"
I want to thank Leslie and Lauren and Kathryn for humoring me and going to the concert.

And of course a big congrats and thank you to Scary and Baby, and Posh, and Gigner, and Sporty for coming back together to make it happen.

Hulk Holgan, followed by the Spice Girls...? I think the term "trash-hole" is appropriate situation.
Cindi B.
For my readership who have not had the pleasure of meeting Cindi B., please note the term "trash-hole" is really a term of endearment she uses when she is happy for you but jealous at the same time.
Thank you Cindi B.! And you are a trash-hole for telling me about your recent skiing adventures knowing full well I am experiencing sever skiing withdrawal.
I won't tell anyone about your spice girl barbie dolls and trading cards that you have stored in boxes under your bed--that will be our little secret.
I've been wondering if their tour would be good! :)Now we are blog friends.
