Chasing the sun

Who knew . . . that Apri 17th would be the longest day of my life up to this point?

Have you ever watched the sunrise on one coast and set on another? It's not so bad if it was west to east but east to west and it feels like feels like the longest day of your life. Last week I woke up at 5:30am EST and went to bed at 12:00am PST. That doesn't happen all that often. So to all those who wish there were more hours in the day I think I found a way to make that happen but I don't recommend trying it all that often or it will wear you out.
And I must say the sunset over LA (from the airplane above the smog level) was one of the most vibrant sunsets that I have seen. Unfortunately I wasn't sitting by a window or had a camera, but if I did I am not sure that a picture would have captured the austonishing site and the beautiful colors. It was breath taking.

This day was longer than the 24 hours you spent on a ski boat with me??

Time flies when you are having fun. That felt more like 3 hours or maybe I felt like I only slept for 3 hours. Will Paul let you try 36 hours this year? Labor Day weekend possibly? Of course he is invited to come but he better bring his favorite topping for our gerbil ball homemade ice cream.
