CAUTION! Any one who has a weak stomach and faints at the site of blood, scabs or knee caps should not read this blog.
Saturday morning I thought it was time to see if my soccer skills from the childhood days had improved or regressed seeing that it has been a few years since I last played soccer.
What do you think?
Actually it looks worse than it really is. The good news is that I wasn't a waste of space on the field because I scored a goal and assisted on two goals and didn't get in the way too much of those who knew what they were doing. And to think I was worried about my shins when really I should have been worried about my knees. According to my experience and calculations soccer is more dangerous than skydiving.
For those concerned about my condition, I can walk, I can kind of bend my knee and my friend in medical school said I wasn't going to die but did offer to perform the amputation if I decided to go a more aggressive and dramatic route. I think I will hold off for now and see how it heals up over the next few days.
It just dawned on my that most people post pictures of their cute adorable children or really cute family pictures and here i post about my disgusting infected leg. And to think I wonder why I am still single.

ouuuuuch!
Other than nearly losing a limb to gangrene, I think you'd have to admit futbol on Saturday was pretty good.
Though I didn't see any "You should see Johnny Wright's physical prowess on the pitch" lines in your post. Maybe I need to read it more closely...
