Who knew . . . this would be my new best friend?
Sorry to all my readers that believed they were my best friend. You will be again one day but for now, it's me and my AC.
It has been hot and muggy here for the past couple days and that is an understatement. Would you like to know how it feels here? Put on a couple layers of clothes, now go in the bathroom and turn on the shower using the hottest water possible. While letting the steam build up get out your hair dryer and blow dry your hair. Yeaaaaaa, now you know it's too hot and muggy to describe. And I even just spared you the awful smells that can be enjoyed on the streets and in the subways right now.
The good news is that I spend most of my day at work in an air conditioned office and this window unit is powerful enough to cool my room down in minutes and keep it cold enough that I can sleep with a my comforter if I wanted to.

Our bill always sky rockets at the peak of summer... and it's ALWAYS worth it.
We both HATE to sleep hot. Don't know how people do it.

As I was walking home from work today I got a little chilly when the wind blew. I thought of everyone on the East Coast . . . and laughed a little. :) I mean . . . so sorry, thank goodness for AC!!
