She's married

Who knew. . .  Esther would give me another reason to fly home for a weekend of fun?

First it was her birthday bash (which was an event never to be forgotten) and now her wedding (another event never to be forgotten).  Esther - the next time I fly home for you it better be to witness you clearing the wake (which you will then promptly fall out of the wakeboard bindings)!

Last weekend I flew home to witness for myself that my very dear, beautiful, sassy, hilarious, sarcastic, and smart friend Esther was married to Paul.  They were sealed for time and eternity in the Seattle temple at 11am on Friday, February 1st.  She looked stunning in her
white dress, red coat with red flowers and he looked handsome in his tux, dress coat and red boutonniere as they came out of the temple.  It was a wonderful day of celebration all for Esther and Paul.  Here are some pictures (I know my blog has been lacking photos - thanks Cindi for supplying)

Meagan, Me, Esther, Cindi

Me, Esther, Cindi
(right before we started into one our our uncontrollable laughing fits usually at the expense of Esther.  That is why we love her so much because let's be honest she welcomes it and even provides much of the material that makes us laugh)

The other days surrounding Esther's big day were filled with a bit of work and mostly visiting friends and spending time with family.  I had lunch with my wonderful friend Amy and shopped and had drive-in burgers and watched a movie with Mel. Cindi and Rob and I had a good time doing absolutely nothing of significant consequence one night and here are two pictures to prove it.

At Bev's good bye party - GOOD LUCK BEV!

Rob looks like he is having a little fun shopping with us - who knew?

And of course who could forget the time I spent with my parents and grandparents and nephews and siblings?

Honey, Monica, Alexander
(everyone else was watching the Super Bowl or watching this picture being taken)

Congratulations to Paul and Esther, Congratulations to Monica and Jonathan, Welcome to the family to Alexander, and it was great to be home with Honey and Papa John, and Mom and Dad and all my friends.

So I'm catching up on your blog, since it's finals and I don't want to work on mine that's due tomorrow...looks like your "Alexander" mistake goes all the way back to this picture...hehe
