Who knew . . . without prior planning that the first two baseball games I would see this season would be to watch the Seattle Mariners play two different teams in different stadiums on different coasts within three weeks and both games they would loose?
You know what I love about baseball? Every single action, condition, number, rate, speed and movement in baseball is measured, recorded, and then compared with historical data. Which means that in every game you attend or watch on tv there is a first ever, a record set or broken, or something that has consecutively happened for an impressive number of at bats, runs, during game, during career and so on. I am sure it goes as far to weather conditions and exact time when each instance took place. Don't get me wrong there are significant accomplishments by professional athletes but I have to laugh at the amount of stats and records this sport tracks and reports. The opening line of this post sounds like something you would hear a sports announcer report.
I enjoy baseball and always look forward to spending time at any baseball park but I may be bitter because I have now watched my home town team loose twice (let's be honest - I am not as loyal as Esther or Tracy) but do you find my observation to be true and do you find this a bit over the top and ridiculous too?

(whipping my head back and looking towards the sky) WOAH, I don't get it. LOL LOL. Now THIS is why I have a VINYL business instead or a college degree... I think that... I will just... agree with you? Does that sound good? LOL
Thanks for all your nice comments on my blog. I love hearing from you.
Hope all is well.

No, it's not ridiculous! It's wonderful and awesome and cool and rad and sick and off-the-hook. These are important stats and provide further evidence why my current boyfriend (Ichiro) and my ex-boyfriend (Olerud) are awesome. The Mariners need some positive energy! I am only one person, I can't do it all! :)
Hey- you won, you won! Check my blog!
