My friend Leslie who works for jetBlue knows and not only did she tell me about it she proved it a few weekends ago by inviting me to join her on a last minute trip.
It was Thursday during lunch and I was telling co-workers that I had no plans for the weekend and was looking forward to it. Little did I know my non-existent plans were going to change later that evening when I booked a flight to Puerto Rico compliments of Leslie's buddy pass privileges.
Friday night we arrived in Puerto Rico, spent Saturday exploring San Juan, riding bikes, shopping, eating, walking the beaches, speaking with the locals, sight seeing and just having A LOT of fun. Did I mention we ate fried plantains for every meal including breakfast? It was one adventure after another. Sunday we walked the beach and spent time in the airport.
We almost didn't make it home due to the joys of flying stand by but miracle of all miracles happened and we made it on a 1pm flight on Sunday when I thought we were facing a 14 hour wait in the airport. I can't tell you how excited I was to sit in a middle seat for 4.5 hours. I practically cried with joy.

Leslie, whenever you need a buddy to use a buddy pass you just let me know. I am game, count me in!
