Who knew . . . my job description would someday include clowning around?
It is true, I graduated from Clown U this past Saturday and was "promoted" to a funny business clown. The college program lasted only about an hour and a half long in the Macy's training center. Come on, think about it, the attention span of a naturally gifted clown is short so an hour and half is the equivalent of a 2 year program. The University brought in visiting professors from Ringling Brothers Circus. It started out with a series of silly lectures, several practicums led by a short girl clown in an orange polka dot dress before we split into groups to "get down to business" and practice routines.
I along with Mike and two others from work will be "funny business" clowns in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. So wake up early, set the tivo, or come out to midtown and look for us. We will be in the last third of the parade wearing big green business suits with oversized ties, and probably some type of hat and face paint. I am excited!

I can't even comment, it's too easy. The jokes just write themselves with this post.

I am so excited to see you in the parade!
I wish I could come see you in the Macy's parade
That sound like so much fun! Make sure to update your resume with certified clown that would be fun to see in an interview. --emily
I now eagerly look forward to the parade.
