Who knew . . . going to Kauai the first week of December would turn out to be one of the best vacations I have taken.  Okay, that is an obvious statement.  I think Hawaii any time has the potential to be the best vacation.  The weather, the company, the beaches, the sights, the surfing, the shopping, the fresh tropical fruit, the list could go on.  But for now I am going to bed as I am still trying to adjust back to real life.  Going from the laid back island life style back to the New York minute is a little tough.  Seriously I thought I was going to cry as the plan took off from Lihui airport.  More on all of this later.  Oh yea and more on the parade and the trip to Michigan.  But for now you will just have to continue waiting a little longer.
