Snow Storm

Who knew . . . the day I start training for a marathon is also the same day the east coast is hit with a snow storm leaving NYC blanketed with 12 inches of snow?

Thanks to my handy little gym pass the snow didn't stop me from getting in my first 40 minute run.  Tomorrow I will hit the gym again for some cross training and by Wednesday the paths in the park may be clear enough for me to run outside.  I have a lot of miles to run between now and when I cross the finish line on June 27th.  I just figure the weather can only improve from here on out.

So my friend Angela ran 2 marathons this past year. You should have a chat with her about it. Her blog is angelasadventures.blogspot.com. Good luck with the running!
