Edible Wax
Who knew . . . that I would prefer one color of wax over the other?
As I was hard at work today I realized I prefer eating brown wax over red wax. Granted there are more exciting, interesting and pressing matters in my life that I have yet to blog about but I thought I would take just a minute (while I eat a Tootsie Roll) and enlighten you on my wax preference.
Personal Wax Rules:
Red wax - Eat only when necessary as in time of starvation or when it's the only option to feed the sugar need. Occasionally rules are bended to allow for movie theaters and Halloween candy but again only if it's the only option or up against black licorice.
Black wax - nope, never, can't do it, not even in times of starvation, infact I am gagging right now as I type. I will add it to the list of foods I won't eat (it's a short list but just got longer).
Brown wax - suitabe option to get a chocolate fix yet usually falls second to any form of real chocolate.
While I get back to work can you think of other colored wax candy that I should investigate and add to my list?

Amen to the Black wax. I won't let Bud near me if he's eaten the stuff. Yuck, yuck, yuck!
I can't believe you like Tootsie Rolls - aka brown wax. I'm shocked. I thought it was a well known fact that that was the cheap, crappy candy creepers use to lure children into their vans. :)
I must admit I do love a little red wax during movies.
WHAT?? I am officially ADDICTED to black licorice! Are we related??? It's true. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. My hubby thinks I'm crazy too.
-This is Krista by the way. I"m on Bart's account.
There are lots of other candies that are actually made of Carnauba Wax. Swedish Fish and Gobstoppers for example. In case you are wondering what that is, its the main ingredient in surfboard wax. I know that because I watched Point Break a lot in when I was in high school. (RIP Patrick Swayze)
i would choose brown wax any day!
