That's right. That is me in front of Charm City Cakes the bakery where Ace of Cakes is filmed. Growing up I wasn't much of a flirt or boy crazy. I never understood why girls would drive by the house where their crush lived just to see if he was home and then drive away. Well, I think I finally understand.
I LOVE watching Ace of Cakes on The Food Network. I know there are other cake shows and pastery competions on that channel and others like it BUT it's not the same. Duff and his team are amazing and so much fun to watch. So when I was in Baltimore for a race the other weekend I thought about vering off the race course to run by. If you have never run a half marathon take it from me that your thought process while sitting at your desk scheming such plans and when you are actually running the 10th of 13 miles just isn't the same. Good thing I didn't take the detour because I wouldn't have shaved off 54 seconds from my time and cleared the 1:50 mark by 5 seconds.
Incase you are wondering why didn't I go inside or why didn't I pop in and pick up a cake, you can't. Not unless you ordered a cake starting at $1000 and set up an appointment for a pick up which I am pretty sure are rare chances. So standing outside would have to do and after a few minutes was enough. Yes I am a fan of the show but I felt a little ridiculous standing there like a stalker.

I LOVE the cakes that they make. And I LOVE that you stalked them. :) I am a total star stalker too. And congrats on the race. You continue to amaze me with your awesomeness.
That is one of my favorite shows. It's awesome, and someday they will make me a cake, too.
