Who knew . . . there are a lot of E's and D's used in the English language?
I didn't realize this until I dislocated my finger on Saturday and am now typing challenged (specifically E's and D's). Tape a popsicle stick to your middle finger and try typing for a while. It's not easy. After a day of work I am considering filing for disability. Not being able to bend my finger makes me want to scream and may lead me to insanity. I am sure that if my index finger could talk it would complain of being over worked. It now has to cover double the amount of keys while the injured finger just hangs out watching all the others type away.
I would show you pictures of my injury but 1) you don't have the stomach to see my finger bent out of shape and 2) it would be rude and inappropriate given the fact that it's my middle finger (or finger #3 as they called it in the ER).
Leave a comment of sypmathy or poking fun if you want but I probably won't respond because I can't stand typing. And if you really want to see the pictures let me know. They are pretty cool! I can't wait to get a copy of the xrays. They are really cool too!

That totally stinks. I agree we don't appreciate what we have tell we loose it. I hope your finger heals quicker then it should.
ya that was me Rachel
oh that is so sad...i'm sorry! it kind of reminds me when my "D" key didn't work. I would have to cut and paste "d" every time i wanted to use it. such a pain.....
