Fore!

Who knew . . . I would become a golf pro?

Well that is a bit of a stretch, okay a long shot.  I will never profess to be a golf pro and not even a golfer but I will admit my father's coaching and that intro golf class at BYU has proven useful.

Last weekend a group of us wound up at the driving range at Chelsea Piers.  It turned out to be very entertaining.  Especially when I discovered how very little most of the group knew about golf.  I shared with them the four steps that my dad shares with me in sequential order:

1. Slow and low
2. Under control
3. Pause for the cause
4. Swing through the ball

Here are few pictures of us practicing these steps.

There were a few other people with us but I won't presume they want their picture posted.  These girls I know won't care or I don't care if they care because they won't care:)

On the way home we experienced significant train delays so I convinced Oscar to entertain me with a little free style rap lesson.

Oh and I almost forgot the best part.  The tees are magical!  You never have to put the ball on the tee, it pops up out of the ground ready to go.  All you have to do is swing the club.

That was fun! We should go and practice more often. I look forward to showing you that I can hit the JetBlue sign!

You should have posted a video of the magic tees--that I want to see!
