Who knew. . . Mel would come from Boston to visit me when she really lives in Seattle?Yesterday I worked while she explored the MOMA and shopped 5th Avenue. Then we met up, lost the Wicked ticket lottery and decided to sulk over dinner in Little Italy. Afterward we had to balance the marinara sauce out with delicious canolies from Ferara and a second dessert at Rice to Riches. We then previewed the shopping we will be doing in Soho today, rode the subway into Brooklyn by accident, took the Staten Island Ferry past the Statue of Liberty, came home, ate gummy bears and went to bed.
And to think we have 2 and half more days to play, wander, explore, shop, eat, and enjoy. YES!

What the heck- how did I not even know you two were strutting around together?? Tell Mel she needs to be my friend again and inform me when she goes cross country without me- especially to see STEPH!
