Who knew . . . I was translucent?
According to the name of my new pressed powder I purchased today I am translucent. That is right I am not fair, ivory, pale, pasty, or white. All those descriptors are too colorful to describe my skin tone.
Merriam-Wesberter.com defines translucent as:
permitting the passage of light: a : clear, transparent
So am I reading this write? My skin has no color? My skin is merely a layer designed to diffuse light and possibly even visibility of my innards? Without my moles and my propencity to sunburn I might question if I had skin at all.
And now we know what I would look like if I were a frog!
Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself and THIS made me laugh out loud today.

I'm translucent too, no big deal. Once a Dominican asked me if I had swallowed a bottle of bleach
