Dallin knew or at least had all the answers to this and 100s of jokes thanks to his grandma who gave him a joke book for Christmas (yet was not there to enjoy the endless jokes). Dallin also knew that it was in his best interest to quietly sneak out of his bedroom in the morning so as not to wake me. I think the $ bribe I offered him helped too.
Who knew . . . what the candy cane represents?
Zachary knew and willingly demonstrated during family night on Christmas Eve. For those who don't remember the candy cane is shaped like a shepherds staff and is used to guide the sheep or in Zachary's words is used to "hook their necks" as he clobbers his cousin.
Who knew . . . that 2 year olds are interested in interior decorating?
Alexander knew just what to do with a wet paint brush that he found tucked away after a last minute home improvement project. Thanks to Alexander the family room carpet and railing matched the new wall color. Thanks to the carpet cleaning machine and Monica's elbow grease both are back to their original color.
Who knew . . . that you can get boyfriends at the blue store but not at the stinky pet store?
Jordan informed me that the stinky pet store has a lot of pets that poop and there are no boyfriends for sale. However I can get a boyfriend at the blue store (Walmart) but the red store (Target) is all sold out.
Who knew . . . that field peas are disgusting?
None of us, otherwise Luke would not have ordered them with his BBQ dinner. Lesson learned always order the recognizable veggies and don't assume that all peas are green.
This has been a very informational Christmas holiday. A trip to Virginia and North Carolina has been relaxing, family packed, and very informative.

No need to fear, a joke book is heading your way for your birthday.
