Who knew . . . being a clown is such hard work?

- can't sleep well because you are afraid you will sleep through your alarm and miss the parade at 11pm to 5am
- wake up at 5am
- costume and make up at 6am
- try not to wet you pants because you are laughing so hard at some of the people getting into funny clown costumes 6:30am
- text family and friends about how to spot you in the parade while riding the bus to the parade waiting area at 7am
- see clowns on stilts and consider making stilt walking a new goal in life then remember you should probably set your life goals a little higher (get it?) 7:30am
- stuff clown sleeves with bags of confetti at 8am

- be glad it isn't raining and you weren't assigned to be a toy block clown 8:30am
- start walking 2.5 miles at 9am
- say hello to friends and family on the parade route who started waiting as early as 4:45am at 9:30am
- lug around a giant ice cream cone offering small children and adults a taste 10am
- throw confetti on small children and adults at 10:30am
- try to get on nation television at 11:00am
- return back to the clown wardrobe area, peel off cos
- tume making confetti fall out of all sorts of places including pant legs, sleeves, hair, jackets, etc. and use an ample amount of baby oil to remove waxy clown make up. 11:30am
- remember you aren't in clown costume and should no longer quickly approach strangers to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving 12:00pm
- Travel home, shower, prep Tday meal, eat, clean up, and veg out for the rest of the day with Jon and Monica and kids.

Thanks Monica for the great collage and for more details about the Thanksgiving weekend check out their blog post. http://bishoppfam.blogspot.com/2009/12/t-h-n-k-s.html
